so the peeps over at accuquilt blessed me with my very own go! cutter.
{remember???}
well i've had some time to play with it...
& now it's time for a rachel-ish review.
likes:
holy cow to cutting out a WHOLE quilt within a few minutes.
pieces are spot on precise. every. single. time.
a very fun, safe way to include your kiddos.
it's SO easy a caveman can do it.
dislikes:
fabric waste can happen if you aren't using your resourceful "a" game.
applique shapes need to be a bit bigger if you use needle turn method.
although the strip cutter is handy...i'm totally spoiled by moda precuts.
overall review:
i highly recommend scoring your own go! cutter.
especially if cutting fabric is your least fav part of quilting.
unfinished doll quilt stats:
size = 18" square
fabric = arabella by pat sloan for p&b textiles
tumbler die used.
critters die used.
2 1/2" strip die used.
{strips = not pictured.}
p.s. keep your eyes open...
i'm gonna give one of these bad boys to ONE lucky p.s. i quilt reader.
:O)
