I really like the colours of this line.
I resisted for a really long time. But now I have either fat qtrs or 1/2 yards in each fabric. I guess I was afraid I would resist too long and then it would turn out like FMF and become IMPOSSIBLE to find. Ounce of prevention...
Isn't it awesome fabric...I know what I'm doing with the rest of mine...but probably won't get to start it for a couple of weeks!
I have fat quarters of all the fabrics and they are all so beautiful. I decided to do a half-square triangle quilt. Working on it now!
I was thinking about the "new wave" quilt by oh fransson as also seen on spun sugar quilt's blog
my hope valley turned into a bow tie block quilt. it was gorgeous, until i started quilting it. now i sort of hate it. i'm only halfway through, though. i should love it by the end.
I DO love this fabric. I'd suggest cathedral windows or, if that's just too much work and you are a want it now gal like me, check out Judy Laquidara's Peaches & Cream quilt top at www.patchworktimes.com. It's simple and would look great with these prints!

You know that I got some and each evening we have a little chat about the awesome pinwheels that Rachel is sharing! Each piece jumps up and says "Hey cut me next!"

There is just something simple and serene about Hope Valley line from Free Spirit. I love it as well. Enjoy the fabric for a while and then make a lovely quilt.

I agree with Jennifer above. What about a bow tie quilt with an edgy color background. It would be very graphic which I like. Unfortunately my lqs doesn't carry any fabrics like this.

Rachel...Thanks for showing this fabric. I ended up getting some Fat Quarters and plan on making the Hope Valley Quilt by Ellen Maxwell at www.freespiritfabric.com. She used the Hope Valley fabrics. Blessings to ya, Karen
