I have had this date on my calendar for about two months now. I am about an hour's drive north of Creations Sew Clever. I have been there twice.
Unfortunately, my staff of three has been reduced to a staff of ONE today and tomorrow. And I am that staff... I hope I can take a "Long Lunch" and get down there, it all depends on what is sitting in my In Box at 10 AM tomorrow.

I think the drive would be a little far but I'll be there in spirit, how's that.
I was reading your quilting story just now....I cut my first "real" quilt out with scissors also...It was a sampler with about 12-16 different blocks inspired by the first Elm Creek Quilt book...I cut templates for the whole entire thing...and surprisingly it came out pretty accurate...but I love rotary cutting, don't you?

Seriously!? Chillicothe is my hometown! I now live 3 hrs away but am starting to feel a fever and cough so I won't make it to work tomorrow. I am soooo excited. Julie and Rachel! In the same place at the same time! I will be star struck and can't wait to meet you both.

Hmmm.... just Googled it.... 9 hrs 17 minutes. I'm thinking I'll have to bow out this time. But, if you make it up to Northern Michigan.... I could come across the border from Canada to meet you! I'm sure the Quilted Moose would host you! Or on our side of the ditch I could ask the ladies at Life's a Stitch to host! I hope you have a blast and I am hoping to get my hands on the book somewhere in our corner of the world!
