it's no secret that i'm kind of biased when it comes to kate, but can you blame me?
she's one of my favorite people in the business.
and not just because she's a genius at fabric designing, but because she's sweeter than pure sugar. honestly. ;)
so, the first time i saw sunnyside, i knew it was THE fabric i've been waiting on.
i've been planning a quilt, for quite some time, that needed just the right fabric.
it's going to be a new pattern in my pattern line.
and i'm SUPER excited to reveal it once the pattern is complete.
in the meantime, let's play a game!
this new pattern is a follow up, a part 2, if you will, of an existing pattern of mine.
so, which pattern is getting a sequel?

Kate is one of my favorite designers too. Her fabrics never disappoint! I'm going to guess you are doing a part 2 of your Reverie pattern, but I think a part 2 of any one of your patterns would be well received! Your patterns are awesome!

Could it be a sequel to Facade? I like the shapes in that one. Somehow I'd missed (or forgotten) that you have a book coming out. I'll have to add it to my birthday wish list.

Kate Spain is one of the first designers that I bought a whole set of half yard cuts from... I still haven't cut into them because I like to just look at them!
I think that Smitten is the pattern that you are going to expand on in the next pattern collection.
Also, I have to tell you that my husband has been making Maw maw's biscuits for me and you are a genius for posting that recipe! Yum!

I do love all of her fabrics! If I had to guess what would have a part 2 I would say either Impromptu or the Pinwheel Sampler.

I think it is for Escapade, love that pattern and the fabric.
There is so much fabric there to do a few sequals - I think Facade would make a great 'II'.
