r is for ruffle.

r is for ruffle.
so, true story ...
about a year-ish ago, my adorable friend, vanessa, was playing with ruffle fabric.
i was instantly intrigued, but equally terrified.
well, this past october, at quilt market, i finally bought myself some ruffle fabrics.

today's objective: saying goodbye comfort zone and hello something cute and ruffle-y.
y'all stay tuned.

xo, rachel

A friend of mine made a really cute dress for her little girl with ruffle fabric but it seems a little scary to me.

Looking forward to seeing what we come up with Rachel. Everyone loves ruffles!

You'll love working with this fabric. My daughter made the cutest little girl skirts out of it.

I've been making scarves out of it...a whole lot easier if you have a good stretch stitch! Can't wait to see what you create:)

You can make women's clothes with it also. I've seen a surprisingly chic skirt made from this lovely, drapey fabric.
