let me s'plain.

10 September 2012

odds and ends
i've had three weeks of chaos.
some of it was good.
some of it, not so much.

here's a quick summary:
school started.
our niece brought miss natalie rae into the world.
my laptop crashed.
miss lindsey turned two years old.
and my sewing machine & i have been spending long hours together.

now that i have a replacement laptop, i can get back to blogging. :D
please note: if i'm not blogging, y'all can still keep up with me via instagram. (@rachelgriffith)
and/or the ps i quilt facebook page.

i have a big week of blogging planned.
a new pattern, a book review & then some.

in the meantime, tell me what y'all have been up to.
i missed y'all.

I understand chaos, so I am sending some love your way! Aaah, whatcha gonna do with that Odds & Ends? I have a bundle of it that I just keep petting. I am itching to do something with it, just can't decide.

Glad you're back in the blogosphere.
I think I'd go into severe withdrawal if my computer crashed! At least you had some happy events to distract you during the outage. Welcome back!

Yes, that sounds like chaos! I've been having the opposite - we've been in Colorado since mid-July, and won't be heading back home till the 1st of October. We're in our RV; he's fishing, I'm reading, sewing, and relaxing. Occasionally we go somewhere together - like the quilt show in Creede next week. Can't wait. Glad you're back!

The thing I like about binding is the hand sewing it down on the back while I'm watching TV. It gives me something to do while watching. ;-)

Sounds like a busy week! Working with little ones can be so challenging, glad you are forging forward :) I have a 20 month old and a 3 month old... my sewing hours have become very odd indeed!
