I look forward to your review. I've heard mixed reviews, mostly due to the amount of "wasted" fabric. PLEASE tell us your thoughts on this once you've used it a while! Thanks!!
Oh, I am filled with such envy! I'm really beginning to want one of my own. However, I was wondering....do any quilt shops or AccuQuilt Go! owners "rent" out time on their cutter? I'd love to take a huge stack of scraps and would glady pay someone a few buck to use their machine for an hour or so. Any thoughts on that?
listen missy...no need to brag ok? hee hee hee....lucky chicky!! I'm extremely jealous!!! if for some obsurd reason u don't like it, my home would be more than happy to have it (another hee hee hee)
I won a GO and love it!!! Someone mentioned waste. Once you get accustomed to using it, there is only a TINY bit of waste....and to me, it is worth it for the convenience of cutting and the time saved. I think you will love it, too.
Way cool. Can't wait to hear what you create with it. Enjoy.
I see there are comments about renting...and I have seen many quilt shops that rent for anywhere from $5-$20/hour. Also seeing AccuQuilt clubs starting, where members share tips & dies, while working on their AccuQuilt projects.
Can't wait to hear what you think about it. I am seriously considering purchasing one, but just not sure about taking the leap yet. I own various die cutting machines and wonder if I can use any of them rather than investing in this.
You can use the Sizzix to cut fabric. Unfortunately there just arent that many dies that work for quilting...after all it was made for scrapbooking so the scale is very small on the dies (mostly...) although I had a 2" die that I use now for quilting and it is AWESOME!.... I am sure I would LOVE LOVE LOVE the Go! Lucky girl Rachel!
I actually am about to start my first little business, here in Denmark, selling those cutters (and Kona Solids)!!! I think they are just plain out genious!!
Cannot wait to read more about your endavours with it :)
i occasionally accept paid advertising in the form of affiliate links, fabric, notions, patterns &/or books, often in exchange for posting about said product. please know that my opinions are always my own. i only promote items that i would personally buy or already own and recommend.
play nice. ask first.
please ask my permission before copying my pics. and never just copy my content & post it as your own.
y'all can link to my blog until the cows come home.
heck y'all can even quote me. no harm done.
stealing is bad - permission is good. it's as simple as that. if you question what is good or bad, just ask.
