so this is my all time fav quilt.
i made this for my granddaddy last year.
the quilt was my version of a symbol of his love from my grandmomma.

Love the quilt, and it's such a special gift. My grandparents were "Grandmama" and "Grandpapa" to me, and though I've never run across anyone else who calls grandparents by quite the same names, yours are close! Thanks for sharing the quilt.

What a lovely story! You can see how much they love each other--it's as if the cake and whoever is taking the picture really aren't there at all.

I liked the way you did some of the squares around the photo darker than the others--it really set the picture off. Nice work!
