a boy & his pillow: a true love story

29 July 2008

so is this not the cutest thing or what???
you are seeing mister andrew jay with HIS pillow.
no...it wasn't made for him, it was made for the hubby...but you see how far that went. lol.
i used one block from pat sloan's big block beauty to make it.
{which was super fast and simple!}
i just had to share this with yall.
it's moments like this, that i quilt for.

How cute!! I know exactly what you mean, I can make something for someone else and one of my boys usually takes it. I have two, Andrew 15 and Hunter 6.

Where are you in Ohio?? I live in Eastern Kentucky.

Just came from Crazy for Primitive Quilts and Gardens. Thought I would check out your site. I just wanted to comment on the EQ5/6. I had the 5. It is a neat program but it takes a lot of time at the computer to design things and I would rather be sewing. I would love to see more pictures of your work on your blog. Your son is a cutie pie. I will continue to check your blog.

Hi Rachel,
I found your blog via Colleen over at Crazy for Primitive Quilts. Read through several of your posts, and no you are not lost, just not discovered totally yet. I have been blogging for a few months now, and I am not all that discovered either. Cute lil fella you have there with his pillow.

I have EQ6 and just love the program and generally layout all my quilts in EQ6 to play with colors and borders before I ever start putting the fabric together. I love to come up with my own designs, and then make them available to whomever wants to make the quilt. Sure is fun!

Hi! I arrived from Just Us Quilters. It appears that you have been found by at least 6 people! So many people are blogging now and it does take time to build a community...but it will happen if you keep at it.
