this quilt is so fun & quirky.
i just heart it.
and i'm pretty sure that miss melanie wants to keep it forever because of all the dots!!! <--a girl after her momma's heart!!! :)
curiosity is SUPER quick & easy to piece.
how SUPER quick & easy?!?! <--let's just say that if you decided this was your "weekend" project, come sunday you'd be relaxing with a nice beverage and your favorite magazine. :)
both solids & prints are used, which i love.
and it utilizes all those fat quarters & fat eighths we quilters tend to always stash.
oh and curiosity looks real good in white!!! :)
white was my original design, but i wanted to try a black background for once.
note to self: make a white version asap.
i love that binding!!!
i might have called this the minnie mouse quilt once or twice.

When I first saw it I thought it would be perfect for an I Spy quilt so I quickly ordered the pattern. I have so many small pieces of I Spy fabrics that this will be the perfect opportunity to use them. Thanks Rachel for another great pattern.
WOW! It's way beautiful...but more of a Mickey Mouse quilt to me; the black would be perfect for the boys!

Stunning! Love the brightness and the elegant simplicity. The black background looks great - it's inspiring me to get out of my comfort zone and try darker backgrounds!
I have a really hart time BUYING a pattern when I can use pencils and grpah paper (and/or tutorials on blogs) but I think I am going to have to break down and get myself a present!!! (my birthday's in a few weeks....I can justify it right?)

I am not really a fan of black, but I must say that quilt with the black background and the bright fun squares is totally awesome! The variegated swirly quilting really finishes it off nicely and the Minnie Mouse binding is fabulous! You've got another winner there Rachel!

Love this! I've been thinking of using black instead of white as a background for a quilt - you just convinced me it will work :) Not sure the white version would have caught my eye.
