I have never been to quilt market - and not sure I have a real need/desire to go (is it just for people in the biz?). Not big on crowds or conferences - but I'm glad others go and share what they learned!

I think just the fact of being surrounded by so many enthusiastic, creative, possibly exhausted people would be amazing! And I need to meet Tula Pink. Not because I'm a stalker or anything. I just think she's awesome. Ok maybe verging on stalker because I would so peek through her window to watch her work I'd I knew where she lived!

I've never been to quilt market, and I TOTALLY want to go! I'm actually working on figuring out how I can get in -besides getting packed into a box or suitcase- and I plan on going someday!

On the bright side, I've already met Lizzie House, and I am going to go meet Anna Maria Horner tonight at a LQS, so that's at least two of the many things that I would do at Quilt Market that I have done/will do! I totally missed my chance to meet Amy Butler though but that's ok.

(love that FQ pack!)
I've never been to Quilt Market, and I think if I got the chance to go, I would most look forward to actually seeing all the lovely fabrics in person. I'm a tactile person, and don't have a bustling modern fabric store near me, so that leaves me viewing new fabrics on the web. :-/
Chances are good, though, that I'll never go, so I just live vicariously through others. :)

I've been to one Mkt and the coolest thing was Sample Spree (and helping my LQS owner/friend carry her purchases). The other things was walking into that huge convention center and realizing that it was devoted entirely to our fave pasttime - quilting.

I would love to go to quilt market because I would like to meet the people who inspire me to quilt. The bloggers, pattern and fabric designers. These people creat the products I use and are the inspiration for most of my projects.

I have never been but have heard so much about it in the blog-o-sphere! I imagine it to be so much bigger and better and with so much greater inspiration and shopping opportunity than anything we have here in the Uk!

I've never been to Market, but I'd so love to see all the quilts and new fabrics up close and personal and see all the quilting celebrities!

Haven't been -- yet, but I want to go. My hubby told me to arrange the travel plans, and he'd get me there! What's not to like? "Quilt" and "Market." I love quilts (pre- and post script!), and I love shopping for fabric, patterns, and cruising for ideas. Would love meeting the designers and seeing new products and fabric lines, too!

my first market in Houston was a bit overwhelming. I didn't know where to start or what to do. I had to go back to the motel that night and come back the next day with a plan. Haven't been to a spring market, but I will go one day soon.

robin said...

This little piggy has never been to market, and likely never will be, but it would be awesome to browse the booths, meeting designers, and looking at the fabric lines. Maybe spend some $$$, too! ;) Thanks for the giveaway chance.

I'd love to be able to go to a quilt market one day - just the chance to wander around and see oodles of inspiration from all the quilts being shown, all the fabrics on display and all the quilters eager to talk about their craft and techniques, ideas, etc. My fear would be inspiration overload and a very empty checking account when all was said and done.

Candace said...

I would love, love, love to go to market some day just so I could mark that experience off my bucket list! I've never been to anything larger than the Sew Expo we have here in the springtime but that's a ton of fun so I bet market would be even better :D

I've never been to any quilt show or quilt market, unless you count county fairs. I should go! It's nearby! I'm moving in the direction of all things quilting now that my baby is on the cusp of graduating from high school. Quilting will joyfully fill in the holes she leaves as she takes on the world!

I have not been to quilt market. It would be lovely to go and see all the pretty quilts and yummy fabrics and just enjoy looking around without being hurried along by my four young darlings. However, it is probably best for my budget that I am unable to go to market. I think I would be way to tempted to buy beautiful fabrics for projects I don't have the time or money to complete.

Tamie said...

I have never been to market, never had the chance and would be overwhelmed, I'm sure. But... I'd love to go. I just want to feel all those fabrics, see all there is to see, and take home some memories.
