go for the gold.

20 August 2009

i reckon i've left yall guessing long enough.
{plus the medal JUST arrived at my house today.}

it was my scruffily quilt that took the gold at the ohio outdoor quilt festival.
not my pinwheel sampler.
i know...i was just as shocked.

either way...
i'm SUPER excited that i can say i took the gold!!!

isn't it pretty???
*dreamy sigh*

Pin It!

Wow! That is just amazing! Congratulations.
I have had only one Sweepstakes ribbon, that is the top purple one you get at the fair. It was my first attempt at a quilt and the only time I have ever entered a contest. haha. But never a gold medallion. Congratulations

Congratulations to you, Rachel. That scruffy quilt is very nice......but I'd have definitely thought the pinwheel quilt, too. Maybe the scruff one was so different from all the others that were entered and that made it really capture the attention of the judges.
