bella & bella.

18 August 2009

i am SO addicted to bella solids...
...that i buy it by the bolt.

maybe i need a bella solids step down program.
i think i'd go down swinging.
hahaha.

and rhonda...
stop laughing because it's just 'by chance' it's called bella.
this has nothing to do with my twilight obsession.
{okay...maybe a little bit.}
hahahaha.

p.s. only 93 more days until new moon hits theatres!!!
not that i'm counting or anything.
*wink*

I've never tried Bella solids. Where do you buy them? Do you get a great deal when you buy it by the bolt.

I am anxiously waiting for my first batch of Bella solids to come in the mail, if they are as fantastic as everyone says I can see a bolt in my future too! :)

Feed the addiction or obsession or whatever you call it!! There is no such thing as too much fabric. Besides when you buy by the bolt you save money and its easier to store it.

So what color is that there? I want a white, but do I want a BRIGHT white? Is there a bright white? I don't want cream. Maybe I need a color swatch card but they are kind of expensive. Maybe I should order some of each and make my own color swatch!

LOL, Rhonda isn't the only one that was thinking that. I can't wait!!!!

bella solids are awesome. I wish I could get a bolt without the customs people stinging me with charges!!!!

I love using solids. It makes what you do so much more artistic. I have not gone to buying them by the bolt yet.

It is so essential to have some neutrals and this is a great one. I would definitely have it by the bolt.

do you use that for all your quilt backings? i meant to ask you. how much does it cost by the bolt? if you do not mind me asking.

The only reason I'm going to see New Moon is because my 13 year old wants to see it on opening night...ummhmm yep that's why lol.

I am TOTALLy addicted as well lol.

Don't you just want to pull out the New Moon book and start reading it again? (ok, so I did that) I can't tell you how many times I watched the new trailer that was released yesterday! (about 6-8 times) I can't wait till Nov.20 either! Oh yeah, I can get enough of those Bella solids. I seem to put them in every project these days.

What Greg said is like a line from one of my favorite movies, (Steel Magnolias): "There is no such thing as too much fabric!" Love it! I would have to be dragged out in a straightjacket if I was told to stop buying it!

I share this obsession! I ordered a Bella Solids color card last week and spent at least 20 minutes just staring at it after I opened the package. I think my husband was concerned for my mental health. ;)

I agree. Bella solids are wonderful. I need more-not less!

I'm just starting to use more solids. Can you tell me why you love Bella solids so much?

Rofl I read your title, and instantly thought Twilight. I've been on a major Twilight kick these last few weeks.
*Sigh* to be able to buy fabric by the bolt. I don't know what I'd do with myself if that were possible lol

Wow - a whole bolt! I'd have to sell my kidneys to buy one here.

Well, you know I love Bella (and buy it by the bolt). I just got three lovely new colors yesterday. I'm definitely going to make a quilt with all solids soon.

Ok, well, I love Bella, and now I also love Bella. You know what I mean. I have always noticed that when you tell us what you used for your quilts that it's usually moda bella solids, is it just white? I looked at the FQS and they had feather and cream, and eggshell I think! I thought you used just white, and I always love how it just sets off all the blocks and other colors in the quilt. :)

I actually have a thing about using solids. It's a bit outside of my comfort zone. I have no problems with tone on tones (I used to have tones of Moda Marbles) but solids... Not so much. I think I should just jump into solids and put aside my discomforts.

That is funny. Have you read all of the books? I am almost finished with number 1. Just got into it after I watched the movie. The book is better.
