well here is my death by quilting tablerunner.

what the heck is death by quilting???

basically it's quilting: jason bourne style.

there are targets...weapons...assassinations...

oh yeah...very jason bourne-ish.

as of right now i'm still only a target.

but things change in the blink of an eye.

i ♥ this tablerunner SO much!!!

and the red stippling...*swoon*

i really, really need one JUST like it.

did i mention that i made this in less than a few hours???

yeah...complete madness...i know.

but i couldn't chance becoming a victim.

this weapon is on it's way to my target.

for baby faith.

so here's the story:

last sunday our pastor said that an old member of the church was expecting a baby.

apparently they needed alot of items to welcome her.

the church threw an anonymous baby shower today.

and among those gifts, was this baby quilt i made.

i was not at the shower, but i know the quilt made it there safely.

{via the assistant pastor...aka the hubby's best friend.}

i was being bad rachel and didn't start working on it until thursday.

i pieced it thursday and completed it friday night.

{while the hubby and the above mentioned best friend watched a movie.}

i was in a hurry friday night, so i finished the binding by machine.

{so NOT my favorite way, but it turned out pretty.}

i know that to most people the label is lacking information...

since it was an anonymous gift, i chose to just use the baby's name...faith.

now the biggest decision i have to make is...

do i use this honey bun to make one of the patterns she sent me???

...OR...

do i throw caution to the wind and just play with it???

{and buy another honey bun for that above said pattern. tehehe.}
