This weekend I made my second "Scruffly" quilt from "blues" stash scraps. My first Scruffly was with Charlevoix line quite a while ago, but got the pattern from PSIQ. I am making lots of tops from scraps, so I can save $$ to buy backs when I'm done. Just can't afford to keep buying more and more fabric when I have all these scraps to make tops!
I made a few carpenters stars! which i am loving right now. I really need to start blogging again.
BTW I love this block! where can i find a pattern or instructions. It is awesome and i love the fabric! Can you send the finished quilt my way by any chance??
Jazz
Congratulations to teh winner
No sewing done here over the weekend. I went thrift shop hopping. And bought a very used Bernette730 by bernina for $34.99. Which I thought was a great find.
I made 5 bee blocks this weekend! (with still quite a few more left to make)Congrats to the winner...did you use 6 1/2" squares?
Super cute quilt block! I do love Jeni's new line!
I am in love with Art Gallery fabrics. There is something about the feel.
I worked on the blocks for my OFF KUiLTeR quilt, which I bought at a local quilt store and the pattern was designed by a local quilter, who is teaching the class. Supporting locally grown quilters.
I spent a very chilly and wet weekend sneezing and coughing along with my DB while our lovely daughter made gallons of hot drinks, mountains of tasty snacks, did the laundry, cleaned the house and walked the dogs. I might have to be ill more often. I have postponed all sewing until next weekend.
I made a get well fabric post card for my niece & cut some beautiful fabrics for bags to sew this week. Congratulations to Heather! I am sew envious!!!!
Congratualtions to the winner. Enjoy all that beautiful new fabric.
Yay for Heather. :0)
Love your block! Trish
