I have a yellow rose that my husband bought for me when we moved to our current location 2 yrs ago. I had a beautiful yard back in CO, but when we moved I couldn't bring them with us (including the roses be bought for me several different years for anniversaries). So, he bought me a new one. :)

And I LOVE Bonnie and Camille fabric too... LOVE IT!

Love your blog as well.

In my front bed right now we have beautiful purple and yellow pansies. They love the cooler weather and seem to be flourishing.

The front beds should have daisies in them. They have come back up but I don't know if they are going to get enough sun to bloom. I'd love to win some Vintage Modern to go with my other bonnie and camille fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway.

Tiger lilies! They're from my late brother's garden, so when they bloom in the summer, it's like he's saying hello to us :)

Melissa said...

Gladiolas – Every year my Grandma used to plant them, she always brought big bunches of them with her when she came to visit. After they bloom, the bulbs split in two; Grandma would dig up the split bulbs and re-plant them in the spring. After she passed away 10 years ago all of my cousins and aunts took a bulb, every summer when those bulbs bloom it’s like grandma stops by to visit us!

How Awesome would impromptu look in Vintage Modern!
