messy mess :)

messy mess :)

it's spring break here in the griffith house. <--hince my lack of blogging.

everything is a mess.
messes made by 3 kiddos that can pretty much clean up after themselves.
messes made by a certain 18 month old that just likes to make messes.
and messes by this lady that came home from a lecture and dumped everything into her kitchen floor.

this week i will embrace these messes.
but next week, next week is a whole different story.

miss yall. giveaway coming soon.
xoxo.

ps - don't judge this pic too harshly.
my iphone can only hide so much messiness.
;)

I'd say this is normal!!! We finished 2 weeks of spring break at the end of March, my husband (a teacher) and both kids home (who are of the "can clean up after themselves" age!) and I just had to grin and bear the mess until they all went back to school. Seriously. I knew I'd been even more antsy about it if I tried to clean up with them here, only to have it all messed up again. I had to bide my time and now....ahhhhh, much better. (Dont' get me wrong, I LOVE my husband and kids, they just don't have the same standards as I do!! hehe)

Judging by the picture... it's a pretty mess! I friend of mine just made up one of your patterns and it's hanging in the LQS! It is so CUTE!

It looks like a typical weekend around our house. Always one or more of the married children home for the weekend with some of the grandkids. We just love them all and embrace the disaster till they leave. Usually my wife doesn't get to much quilting done on the weekends as the grandkids are more important.

Can you tell me what the pattern is called for the yellow bag? I think it is the fq pattern I've been seeking. Sorry about the mess!

hahaha, I like that mess. Looks like my room after I got back from an overseas trip. Things just have to sit for a minute or two days before they get put in their place :)
