I'm jealous of your NYC trip. Have a great time! Pic of fabric bundles are nice. I have a fabric addiction and those are tempting, for sure. I do follow you on fb and I am waiting on that bisquit recipe. Have a nice weekend.

I finally finished a set of paper-pieced placemats, but my FAVORITE thing of the week was my son's basketball team winning their first game...GO WILDCATS!!

My oldest daughter showed up yesterday with a Wilson and Wheeler Treadle in immaculate condition - cabinet and machine, accessories including glass presser feet, manual, oil can, etc - as a gift for me! This daughter is allergic to anything resembling sewing so it is extra special that she recognized what a score this was. Whooeee!

I'm getting addicted to Instagram, too -- and Downton Abbey. My favorite thing about this week? Well, last night was pretty awesome -- shopping for fabric and then at an Asian market with friends and then sewing circle all evening. But today I got two packages of fabric.... I guess I've had a pretty good week!

Babies always make a week better! I made progress on several projects this week so that feels pretty good.

I'm a Downton Abbey fan too :)

Cute fabric in the photo! This week...finished the baby quilt for my first grandson due in May. Started the crib bumpers. Sorted through my scraps and made some useable squares for 9-patches. Visited my mom. My son is going to be 26 on Valentines Day. A great week.

My favorite things about this week was spening a whole day with my little Grandson. He is only 4 months old and I got to babysit for a whole day. I love the fabric and can't wait to see what you make with it.

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by too. It seemed like Christmas the other day!

On another note...I love Downton Abbey too. I just found out there was a second season already. I can't wait to watch it!

Best thing: I signed up for a quilt class that I was undecided about doing. Once I signed up I felt good about it. Then my husband took me to Olive Garden...even better.

I like the polka dot fabric. I too have become addicted to Downton Abbey. I did not see last season which I would like to do at some point. I finished up my lat 30 log cabin blocks and pieced a quilt back yesterday.

Your dear stella yard sale fabric was the inspiration I needed for a quilt I plan to make as a graduation gift, she told me green with pink and blue and I wasn't sure what to use, and then I saw the picture you posted. Thanks! I love to read your blog by the way. Someday I want to make your impromtu and debonaire quilts, they're just so lovely.
