My boyfriend got me a Kindle for my birthday last year, I L-O-V-E it. And then I gave him a Kindle Fire for Christmas :) And when he got one from a work client for Christmas, he gave that one to me!

I love being able to tote around several books in such a light device.

And then there's the Kindle sleeve sewing... so much fun!

My sweetie bought me flowers. He knows they are the way to my heart.

Hahahaha, Janice was the most hilarious significant other on that show. Safe travels! Hope you have fun breaking in your Kindle! Don't get kicked off the flight with it a la Alec Baldwin, k? Hehehe.

Haha, I read Janice & thought...*that Janice*? Yep. The one & only!
I didn't even know cupid was supposed to come bearing gifts! I am getting a lot of hugs & kisses from my daycare kiddos though. Even more than usual! One of them told me that Daddy is giving Mommy a present tonight. I didn't ask any questions about that one...! ;)

Cupid rocks! I'm hoping he brings me a house....maybe wishful thinking :)

Cupid brought me nothing since we don't really celebrate Valentine's Day; my husband thinks it's a consumer holiday. But, you never know...he may yet surprise me.

Have fun in New York!!!

I received 12 roses and a heart shaped box of candy! Love that man of 42 years.

Well, Happy Valentines Day and enjoy your new Kindle!!!
My wonderful Cupid was so sick (stomach flu bad) yesterday, but got out of bed around 1 pm and said he had to go get salt for our water softener. I told him I would go but he knew I couldn't lift the 40 lb bags so off he went, looking a little green around the gills too.
When I got up about 4:30 am to go into the bathroom, when I got back to the bedroom there were long stemmed red roses and an adorable little monkey, who I have named Skeeter, with a red bow around her neck hugging the vase, sitting on my dresser. THAT is what he really went out for, bless his heart. He was sleeping in the spare room because he was so, so sick but I ran in and gave him a big hug, tears rolling down my face (I always cry when he does this). The poor guy hasn't missed a Valentine's Day since we got married 43 years ago and I guess he wasn't going to let a little 'bug' stop him from maintaining his perfect record. *I have no idea where they were hidden because I was in every room of the house yesterday doing this and that...it's a mystery I tell ya!
By the way, he is feeling a little better today but still not real perky.
Have a safe, wonderful trip to New York. Hugs...

I LOVE Bliss! It is so hard to find now. I pick it up whenever I see a bit of it....especially the red and white polka-dot!

I got a Kindle last year (did not adk for it, but Honeyman surprised me with it) and I just love it!! It is not a fancy one, it has the keyboard and I even like to play games on it! Passes time when out and about!!

I have a Kobo and I just love it (and so do our daughters, who "borrow" it all the time!). Did you know you can access books from your library system?
And that there are quilt books you can purchase!!

Love my Kindle! Had a couple of years but I was excited with flowers and chocolate covered strawberries. he's still a keeper!

Good Morning Rachel! How's the son doing? Lots of good skiing, I hope!

Congrats on the Kindle. I think I have the first one ever made but love it and can not live without it. Don't forget to bring your charger, though!

I am a practical girl so while I did get a box of chocolates, toffee covered with chocolate and nuts, I've asked for new cushion covers for the porch furniture just in time for Spring!

Bon Voyage! Have a fantastic trip!

Congratulations on your Kindle! My bosses bought me one for my birthday last year and I love mine! My Hubs bought me the neatest. I've been wanting to enhance my sewing room space, and he works for Hobby Lobby, and he came home with a hat box filled with these enormous buttons you can hang on the wall. L.O.V.E.! Flowers don't bring tears to this girls eyes, but buttons...oh my!!!

How sweet I'm sure you will love your Kindle. When I seen the pic of the fabric I wondered what you will be doing with it. That fabric is my favorite .....very favorite line of fabric!

Hope you're enjoying NYC--overall, you're getting some great weather for the season! (I'm an hour away--/wave!) My cupid brought me ginger ale and saltine crackers, as I woke up Tuesday with the flu! YUCK!

(Santa brought me a Fire, though, and I LOVE IT!)
