Oh, I have a list...I'd start with Neptune and work my way through Sandy Gervais' fabric and then end with a bali pop or two!!! Yup, charm packs are addicting!
I would start with a Santorini by Lila Tueller charm pack and maybe a Persimmon Deer Valley by Joel Dewberry fat quarter pack. OR maybe a jelly roll and a charm pack, or maybe some 1/4 yard cuts - or maybe a pattern and a jelly cake, or maybe a ...
I would definitely get some Morris Workshop fat quarters...maybe even a fat quarter bundle! I have the new Michele Hill Morris book and I would love to use the new Morris prints!!
oh gosh I don't know where I would start. Since I am just building a stash anything is wonderful and even better if it were with a gift certificate...but I am not choosy.
Charms, charms, and more charms!! I ♥ charm packs!! I love the one of each, and size to play with!
But then I go to the layer cakes, and then Im craving a dessert roll. Go to the jelly roll page, and but then I see the honey buns! Then its over to the charming jelly cakes. Then add it all up, it adds a fat quarter to the waist, better lay off the turnovers..LOL
Think I'd go to the Clementine table first, although I should get started on my holiday sewing...I might have to include a few holly and berries along with some snowmen and let's not forget that jolly ol' soul...no, I think it would have to be some luscious wool to hand sew a Nativity...does the FQS sell wool??? Yes, that would be what I would buy...I think...oooooohhhhhh, I can't deside...I'm glad it's you and not me having to make that decision...have fun;)
I love charm packs so I'd choose from: Neptune, Hushabye, Authentic, Eva, and maybe something Christmas-y like Have a Sheri Berry Holiday. I think that would put me darn close to $50 and boy do I love those charm packs!
It would be a tough decision, but ultimately I might choose the bright polka dots FQ bundle, and maybe a few turnovers because I really want to try piecing with triangles, but I don't want to cut them. I think I'd get Happy Campers.
I would get Moda yardage...because I am desperately wanting to make bedding for my baby girl. BUT i would have a very difficult time choosing between Wonderland, Snippets, and Neptune! This was a difficult question... :)
If I had a $50 give certificate from the wonderful Fat Quarter Shop I would immediately order a Patisserie Charming Jelly Cake by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.
Yardage and fat quarters from Full Bloom by Bari J. Ackerman, and yardage and fat quarters from Summer Soiree by Paula Prass. I'd make clothes for my daughters and use the rest for quilts...
I would buy yardage of Wonderland - I have 2 charm packs of this already and would make my little 1 year old grand daughter something cute for christmas
Firstly it would take me all week to decide...their fabric is to die for. I like either jelly rolls or the fat quarter bundles in Spring time Nature-ology..(yummy colours) or Flamingo Whimsy, again the colours are amazing! Failing that any Yardage of Amy Butler...see I told you it would take me a week to decide!
If I had to stay within $50, I'd get several Santorini charm packs, or the Mezzanine FQ bundle, but since my b-day is in 2 weeks, maybe my dh would be nice and let me have the whole Santorini fat quarter bundle and pay for the rest;-)
hmmm...there's so much I want lol. Right now though I really want some Henry Glass bubblegum basics and Michael Miller spa group...oooohhh and a charm pack or two of Gobble Gobble!
50 dollars .... to shop for...that would be a dream come true.. I would definetly go for some lovely new Shirting fabrics listed on their site... so I could finish up something yummy with my chocolate and strawberry repro fabrics... need some cream to it..:o)))
Man, what a decision. Definately would purchase a Moda pre-cut item. Have my eye on the Christmas collections as well as the Halloween/Fall selections as well.
I think it'd have to be the michael miller funky christmas FQ bundle, or if I was feeling a little bit cheeky I'd put in an extra $25 and buy the hushabye bundle.
Or...or...or...or (it's a toughy - there are a million things I'd buy right now!)
Well first of all I would have to take some sort of pill to calm me down... then, when all my senses were working again I would buy the Mezzanine Fat Quarter Bundle. It took me a coffee and about a half an hours hard work so I hope your next question is easier :)
I would buy Spring Magic Charm Pack April Cornell for Moda Fabrics, Mist Palette Teatime Floral Charm Pack Lakehouse Direct Fabrics and the Multi Palette Teatime Floral Charm Pack Lakehouse Direct Fabrics. It would be great ^^
I've never had any Erin Mcmorris fabrics, so I'd love to get a fat quater bundle of aspen wildwood and then a couple fo half yard cuts of the fern wildwood patterns!
I would definitely buy fabric. I would have to sit and do a search as to what I would add to my stash, but it would hands down be fabric, no patterns. God knows I have enough patterns. Although, then again, there are lots of great new ones coming out everyday.
hmmmm...that's one difficult question. But, I am loving Wiscasset and Kansas Troubles Vine Creek (as well as their Kansas Winter) right now. Drooling over them, in fact. So, charm packs and whatever I could get in one of those collections...that's what I'd spend a $50 gift certificate on.
The new shirting fabrics, Astor Manor by 3 Sisters of maybe just wait for the line by Minick and Simpson. Oh, there's also French General. It would be hard to decide :) Good luck in choosing!
omg, It would be so hard to narrow down. I would like some charm packs to play with - Sheri Berry Holiday and Carolers (though I probably need a fat quarter pack of that:) to start and a Birdie Charm Pack when it is available. I would like backing for a zig zag quilt I am working on now, something fabulous. I would like to just dream about it a bit too!
First, the Sturbridge Village Harvest charm packs with coordinating fabric so I can make your table topper in Thanksgiving theme (I've got everyone coming this year - YEAH!). I think that would about cover it, but I'm sure I'd have to add some more, need solids all the time. And, it's the FQS, everything's good!
After I regained consciousness, I would order 2 Northern Solitude charm packs and a Frosted Memories jelly roll. Exactly $50 - perfect! Then, I'd probably have to go lie down again to recover....
I would buy 2 Figgy Pudding Honey Buns, since I already have one, and I need more to finish a Christmas quilt I want to make. Although once I got on there and REALLY started looking I would probably find a lot more I wanted to buy and my $50 would become $100.... or $150... :D
I'd get me some charm packs although after seeing jodi's project on MBS I might try a turnover too.... Figgy Pudding is HIGH on the list. Followed by Wonderland, Authentic (so awesome!)Simple Abundance, Hushabye, Panache (eerily reminds me of Wonderland--that's why I like it) and some robot fabric. I need some solids as well and I think I would go WELL OVER my said $50 gift certificate!! :)
I love the Kansas Winter line and have been picking up a few here and there for a project. I like the colors you had pictured also. The hard part is stopping at $50.00 right now as I have much to do for Christmas! If I had $50.00 to spend there though it would feel like Christmas came to me early. Sigh.....I miss Santa.
I would stock up on Moda charm packs, starting with the Crazy Eight, Frosted Memories, and the Pumpkin and Spice pack. And I agree with Taiya, its hard to stop at $50. :)
I would probably start with a Jennifer Paganelli Soul Dance With Me FQ bundle and then add an Amy Butler Midwest Modern 2 FQ bundle, then desperately wish that $50 could stretch a little farther. I would be tempted by the Practical Bag and/or Flea Market Bag Patterns by Tanya Whelan and the A Girl's Best Friend Quilt Pattern by Abbey Lane Quilts. And finally, I would be so excited by all the inspiration of fabric-y wishing and dreaming, that I would haul out my WIPs and sew, sew, sew!
I'm a little obsessed with Neptune right now...from the comments it looks like some others are too! But I've got a number of charm packs so I'd have to buy Neptune yardage. Yum!
hmmm...such a hard choice! I would have to say a French General Layer cake to add to my collection of fabrics for my king size bed quilt....and some happy campers fabric...maybe some charm packs too!!
I love the Fat Quarter Shop and I shop there all the time. If I had a $50 gift certificate here's a few things I would like to get, it would be hard to choose just one. American Patriot Fat Quarter Bundle, Chloe's Christmas Fat Quarter Bundle or Vine Creek, Kansas Troubles, I would get the Jelly roll and and Layer Cake.
I think I'd start with Neptune...that is, of course, unless I got said GC in September....then I might be tempted to wait and order as much Sweetwater "Authentic" as I could get!! LOVE that stuff!
Charm packs in doubles and some Moda Bella cause I have never used it (we can get Kona, but not Bella) and then if there is any money left over I would get more charm packs...LOL
since you asked... I'd save it and buy as much of that new french general line that I can get my hands on in the fall. I'm so drooling over that line, and it's making me insane to wait for it!
I would save it for the new Blue/Yellow line by April Cornell that is coming out this fall. I saw the info on the FQ Shop blog..... had to back away from the laptop to keep from drooling on the keyboard
I would get as much Full Bloom as I could. I fell in love with Bari's fabric when when posted her gorgeous quilt pattern with the lovely border design. Love it-of course if I had endless ducats, I'd just buy more Figgy Pudding and Oh Cherry, Oh! and all the Full Bloom and so, and so on and so on!!!
Tough question, but I think it would be fabric for my next project, Anne Sutton's Rabbits Prefer Chocolate. I've already purchased fabric for your Christmas Table Topper, so that's in the works as we speak. By the way, I love listening to Legends of the Fall when I read your blog!
There are some really cool patterns I would love to have. Icing on the Cake by The Pattern Basket, The Big EZ Quilt Pattern by Bloom Creek, Box Cake Quilt Pattern by Cozy Quilt Designs, Nana's Attic Quilt Pattern by Crazy Old Ladies, No Place Like Home by Heartspun Charms, Done in a Jiff and Made In America by Heartspun Quilts, Star Power by Pieces from my Heart, etc. I better quit. I could go on all day!
I would buy me some Patisserie by Fig Tree Quilts, because I bought me some when I went to Seattle in april, and gave it away when I came home! And I have felt a little bit sorry for that since then, because I can't get it here where I live!
I used to read poky little puppy to my daughter when she was little, definitely alot of that and also the Krystal Blue because I love blues and that is the way I spell my daughters name.
i am really enjoying the Mezzanine fat quarter bundle ($46.75). i love the vibrant colors and the patterns. i get so many IDEAS just looking at it. too bad i can never find nice fabrics like this at garage sales or thrift stores =(
I would have to get the Moda Basic jelly roll in sugar, cause I am doing the quilt along 2 with Crazy Mama Quilts and I'll 2 1/2" sashing in off white. Then I would buy a fat quarter pack of Oh Boy! in blue and some coordinating cuts for my new grandson. He is so spoiled! I can't help myself!
Well - now that you ask...I was just over there shopping! I've got some Moda packs in the cart as well as some Alexander Henry prints for a sweet little baby quilt. Oh the possiblities are endless. I'm still not done shopping. Gift card or no gift card - I'm gonna shop! teehee Jenn
It looks like lots of us would enjoy spending $50.00 at the fatquartershop. I know I do....I probably would wait for the simple abundance fabric. I really can hardly wait!
OMGoodness, hands down, no hesitation - Laura Gunn's Lantern fabric. I have a birthday coming up in September and am hoping to spend a little $$ on that fabric. LOVE IT!!!!
On another note. I see that you'll be participating in dqs7... looking forward to seeing what your create.... like your style!
Hm....I think I'd get some of the new Sorbet line from Moda. I forget the designer, but they're soft w/o going too far down pastels and have a great modern paisley look.
Well... I'd start with a Patisserie jelly roll to go with the charm squares I won in a giveaway. Then, probably I'd buy some yardage to coordinate. Then, I'd be able to make a whole quilt!
Or... maybe I'd buy some fabric to make another dress or skirt. Yes, I know FQS is supposed to be for quilting, but their fabric is yummy enough to be worn... so I do.
Have you been looking at my Amazon wish list? I would buy some Legacy and some Civil War Homecoming fabric to start with. There are 2 patterns I want from Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.; Birdseye and Circle of Friends. There are also a couple of Fig Tree quilt patterns, Petit Fleurs to start with, then there is fabric to go with that. I could keep going but I think I've already surpassed the $50 mark.
well ... this would be tough .. i have had my eye on the practical bag pattern by tanya whelan, so that would be first .. and although i would have to wait, i really want some authentic by sweetwater and mill house inn by fig tree ... karen ca
Talk about a big question! I actually need lots of solids...so that's where I would go first but after that...Erin McMorris's Wildwood! Looks like you might have had fun shopping!
OH, I would go Moda all the way. In fact, I just did that at our quilt shop, $200 worth of Moda. LOVE it! Now to do something productive with it, before it goes out of style ~a
I'd buy the "stuff" I need to get started making a quilt on the machine my mom just set up for me right next to her machine. I am pretty much scared to the dickens about sewing my fingers together. With $50 I'll bet they have a thread puller right? polly from KS
I would choose the Wonderland Jelly Roll, MoMo for Moda. I recently made a bag out of this fabric and would love to have a full size quilt using these beautiful colors, that way I could enjoy them all the time!!!
A toss up between Harmony Cream & Tan Fat Quarter Bundle Jan Patek for Moda Fabrics and Vine Creek Almond and Straw Fat Quarter Bundle Kansas Troubles Quilters for Moda Fabrics..Lovely fabrics!
so many choices! maybe a Wintry Holiday Magic Fat Quarter Bundle by studio E for a lap blanket for my mom for Christmas. oh! or a Indigo Fat Quarter Bundle by Timeless Treasures Fabrics for my brother. he wants a black and blue quilt, and those aren't too girly. ooor, maybe either of the nature.ology fat quarter packs by studio e, for a possible wedding quilt. there's so much on this website!!
I'd hoard it for French General...or Simple Abundance...or maybe Hushabye...or maybe...you get the idea. I'm a horrible decision maker. I'd just spend enough to get them all.
After visiting the fat quarter shop, I thought I had visualized what I would select (but a very hard decision). Then I started reading all the comments. So Off to the shop to see what others were selecting. Oh, the power of others in making a choice. So I changed my mind several times. I think now that I have visited at least four times tonight, that I would pick my very first jelly roll, honey bun would also work, the charms are also interesting, and after much wishy, washy decision making, I think I would go for the Morris selection. So beautiful. I also enjoyed the kits and patterns.
I love fat quarter shop! They even happily (and quickly) ship to military APO addresses - love that! I would buy jelly rolls for quick Christmas gifts for family. I also love their scrap packs, it is a huge box full of suprises!!!
Wow, were you exepcting 125 plus comments? My spend? Wiscasset, Simple Abundance and Aster Manor. What's that you say? More than $50 worth. Drat! I can never stay within the budget.... Ann :)
Disco Dance with me and Soul Dance with me Fat Quarter bundles by Jennifer Pagenelli and if there's any left over a couple of honey buns, not fussy, any would be fine. But what I'm really really hanging out for is Authentic by Sweetwater. Oh my goodness, it's to die for! [sigh]
Oh, That is easy!! I have several gift projects I need to do. Sooooo..I would pick out several charm packs, maybe Glace, Venetian Holiday, or Crazy Eight and Fabulous Fall, or Figgy Pudding, Kansas Winter...oh the possiblilities are endless!! and then I would pick some yardage to go with the charm packs...It would so much fun! :)
I would probably spend hours scrolling through the options, trying to decide and then getting nervous so changing my mind... but would probably end up with some of my favourite fabrics - momo - in charm squares, jelly rolls, layer cakes, basically whatever I could get my hands on. (oh, and realistically, do the 'inquiring minds' really think I could limit my purchase to just the gift certificate? hypothetically of course!)
The fat quarter shop is a great shop. With a free $50 gift certificate I would buy charm packs and yardage of Patchwork Heritage. Except most likely I would buy whatever struck my fancy at the moment. A lot of times that is what gives me ideas and inspiration.
I love the Neptune line, and would need to stock up on that. I have lots of baby quilts to make for friends in the coming months, and love that collection!
Moda Jelly rolls with extra Jelly! Neptune or Soiree! Or go directly to the Christmas store some great holiday fabric for your Christmas Table toppers which I <3! Have a good day!
$50 worth of fat quarters! Well, maybe not, but it's so hard to pick when you know you're not really going to get it. All their stuff is so nice and all the new fun fabrics are just too yummy!
Oh gosh $50.00 at Fat Quarter Shop! What a great that would be. I first would go through every single fabric in the store! Then decide. Probably get fabric for my daughter's wedding quilt.
$50???? great googly moggly! fall is acoming....Im thinking,...pumkin and spice? halloweenie (my favorite time of year) or maybe...joel dewberry....or something manly for manfriend....of cuties wootsie for aprons...I cant decide, but I will if'n I have too *grin* (mauh) Liz
Hi Rachel, This is my first time at blogging. I am very excited as I have just completed my first quilt. If I had a gift certificate I would buy the Poky little puppy to make my daughter a lap quilt or the Glace by 3 Sisters or the Kansas winter as I love the colors. Thanks Rachel for my first attempt at blogging.
As I said before, I would either put it towards two bali pops, or towards a bolt of moda basic cream (so I can use it to finish all those projects I have been putting off).
I have just fallen in love with Cogsmo by Cosmo Cricket and can't wait for Snorkel by Cosmo Cricket to be released. And I would also love some Authentic by Sweetwater! Basically anything I can get my hands on that's not available in Oz...
I am pretty sure I would go for the Rouenneriers line by French General for Moda. I have been dying to get my hands on this, but it doesn't come out until October. If I won do you think I could save the GC until then?? LOL dought it. It would burn a whole in my pocket. LOL
I would pre-order French General's gorgeous Rouenneries fat quarter pack! Then I would have to sit and wait until October when it is actually released by Moda. It would be painful but I'm strong!
RIGHT NOW my favorite color combo is blue and yellow....... a mix of fabrics in each of those colorways. I'm working on redecorating a new guest room using those colors for the bed cover quilt and the matching curtains. Now, when I start a new project my favorite color thing will probably change, depending on what I'm working on THEN.
I always wanted to try quilting, my mom did it when I was a child so I think I would purchase the Liberty Home Quilt KIT Robyn Pandolph for RJR Fabrics, so I hope I win :-)
OMG, I would immediately order 1930 repro fat quarters !!! I'm living in a small village in Belgium, with ONE single quilt shop (a small one), and I can't find those wonderful fabric collections. XXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO NADINE
I know I should be practical and get some coordinating yardage, but I'm in love with charm packs! I'm like a kid waiting in line in the candy aisle...gotta have some!
Gosh where would I start w/a $50 to FQ Shop. This is my favorite shop. I'd browse the 50% off first, then the kits (they have THE BEST kits). I'm sure by that point I'm beyond $50 :)
Whoa, now that is Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day, and anything else that you could squeeze into and onto it giveaway....I feel so limited to just one color combo....blue/yellow red/white.....blue/yellow....red/white.....sigh, it's like picking off the petals of the daisy.....

Poky Little Puppy fabric. I love it!

I would buy that Pumpkins and Spice kit they have with the latest fabrics from the Whimsicals line :o)
That's easy. I'd buy as much Neptune as I could get my hands on. I want to make a quilt for my brother who is currently deployed on a submarine : )
As soon as I saw Neptune, I knew it'd be perfect.

All the acadia fabric I could, of course.
I would get a set of Jingles flannel FQ - it gets VERY COLD in Minnesota!
I would order any charm packs that took my fancy! I seriously have a charm pack problem! :)

I'm more of a fat quarter kinda gal.
It would start me off on a great collection of Cottom Blossom!!
A couple husyabye charm packs and a moda basic jelly roll so that i could make my niece a stunning quilt for her first birthday!
Well first of all I would have to take some sort of pill to calm me down... then, when all my senses were working again I would buy the Mezzanine Fat Quarter Bundle.
It took me a coffee and about a half an hours hard work so I hope your next question is easier :)
Biquiños
I would buy Spring Magic Charm Pack
April Cornell for Moda Fabrics, Mist Palette Teatime Floral Charm Pack Lakehouse Direct Fabrics and the Multi Palette Teatime Floral Charm Pack Lakehouse Direct Fabrics.
It would be great ^^
I've never had any Erin Mcmorris fabrics, so I'd love to get a fat quater bundle of aspen wildwood and then a couple fo half yard cuts of the fern wildwood patterns!

i would save it to buy a fat quarter bunch of simple abundance!! that's what i want to do, and that is without a $50 head start ;o)
I would TRY to buy fabrics in colors that are lacking in my stash (but no guarantees I'd not revert to my all-time favorites of greens and blues!!!)
i think i'd get a fat quarter pack of joel dewberry's deer valley in azure. i really love those colors.
Probably save it for the French general fabric everyone's talking about.
The new shirting fabrics, Astor Manor by 3 Sisters of maybe just wait for the line by Minick and Simpson. Oh, there's also French General. It would be hard to decide :) Good luck in choosing!

I got down to 2 fat quarter bundles, and that was a task for a heroe! :D
1. Green Oh Boy by David Walker
2. Kiwi by Alice Kennedy
If I got a gift certificate I wouldnt stop until I had spent at least as much money as the certificate was woth. :D
ooh - that Moda polka dot FQ set has my name written all over it. Throw is some charm packs and I would be a happy girl! : )
First, the Sturbridge Village Harvest charm packs with coordinating fabric so I can make your table topper in Thanksgiving theme (I've got everyone coming this year - YEAH!). I would probably get a Hushabye jelly roll and backing fabric--I have a niece on the way and it would make such a pretty quilt!!!
I am lusting over Summer Soiree and would want a fat quarter bundle.
Sommerset Cottage in Yellow and Pumpkin and Spice in Vanilla. The list is long but those would be my top two. One can dream, can't they?
Rosemary
I don't know. My FQS wish list is so LONG - I wouldn't know where to begin!
I'd probably have to go with all the new Moda lines coming out. Love them all!
I would buy 2 Figgy Pudding Honey Buns, since I already have one, and I need more to finish a Christmas quilt I want to make. Although once I got on there and REALLY started looking I would probably find a lot more I wanted to buy and my $50 would become $100.... or $150... :D

I would order a new Bali Pops and a white fabric to use in three quilts waiting for white connecting strips!
I'm a little obsessed with Neptune right now...from the comments it looks like some others are too! But I've got a number of charm packs so I'd have to buy Neptune yardage. Yum!
I'd be all over the Figgy Pudding!! I adore basic grey scrapbooking paper and their fabric is no different. <3 me some Figgy Pudding!
hmmm...such a hard choice!
Tami
I can't believe you are having a hard time spending that gift card. Looks like you have enough suggestions so I'll just say, "Hi!" :)
Anything by American Jane: Snippets or Happy Camper take your pick
I would get tons of Michael Miller fairy frost.
Micki
I would save it for the new Blue/Yellow line by April Cornell that is coming out this fall. I saw the info on the FQ Shop blog..... had to back away from the laptop to keep from drooling on the keyboard
I would get as much Full Bloom as I could. I fell in love with Bari's fabric when when posted her gorgeous quilt pattern with the lovely border design. Love it-of course if I had endless ducats, I'd just buy more Figgy Pudding and Oh Cherry, Oh! and all the Full Bloom and so, and so on and so on!!!
I would get some Mezzanine, some Summer Soiree and some Latern Bloom - hmmm.. all from Michael Miller - how coincidental - LOL!!!
I comtemplated this very question a couple of weeks ago: http://www.haveyoumetus.net/michelle/blog/?p=869
Tough question, but I think it would be fabric for my next project, Anne Sutton's Rabbits Prefer Chocolate. I've already purchased fabric for your Christmas Table Topper, so that's in the works as we speak. By the way, I love listening to Legends of the Fall when I read your blog!
As many charms packs as I could!
Well, that was a fun way to burn oh, a lot of minutes (I'll leave it at that, lol)! I'd have to go with the fq bundle of Fiona by Anna Griffin.
A bundle of fat quarters of Tanya Whelan fabrics. Lucky you....have fun shopping!!! XXX Annie
Easy! I would get a Layer Cake of Wildflower Serenade II by Kansas Troubles Quilters. I would also throw in a couple of Charm packs!
LOVE the Morris Butterfly quilt kit and ALL the Rebel Roses fabric! DROOL! DROOL!
There are a couple of April Cornell Fat Quarter Bundles calling my name. I'm sure I would have no problem spending lots more at Fat Quarter Shop!
I would save it for "Simple Abundance" and Pumpkins and Spice...Love Fat Quarter Shop!
Figgy Pudding! Love it ;)
i am really enjoying the Mezzanine fat quarter bundle ($46.75). i love the vibrant colors and the patterns. i get so many IDEAS just looking at it. too bad i can never find nice fabrics like this at garage sales or thrift stores =(
Wow! $50 bucks to spend!
Well personally I love charm packs and would definatly get a few of those, but that Patisserie Charming Jelly Cake has really been calling my name!
Well - now that you ask...I was just over there shopping! I've got some Moda packs in the cart as well as some Alexander Henry prints for a sweet little baby quilt. Oh the possiblities are endless. I'm still not done shopping. Gift card or no gift card - I'm gonna shop! teehee Jenn
Without question I would want SO many things! BUT...I would totally buy everything I could from Patty's new line Mezzanine! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Yes, I know FQS is supposed to be for quilting, but their fabric is yummy enough to be worn... so I do.
Glace Charming Jelly Cake! Okay, I'd have to chip in a bit of my own cash, but what fun I could have!
Some of Patty's Mezzanine and a Lecien Sushi Roll, just for fun...
:-)
I would get a Neptune Honey Bun, a Wonderland Honey Bun, and a Figgy Pudding Charm Pack. I ♥ Moda Fabric right now!
I'd have to join a BOM!
I would pick out some Fat Quarter Bundles!
well ... this would be tough .. i have had my eye on the practical bag pattern by tanya whelan, so that would be first .. and although i would have to wait, i really want some authentic by sweetwater and mill house inn by fig tree ... karen ca
I would buy:
Clementine Layer Cake and Santori and Spring Magic charm packs...
Talk about a big question! I actually need lots of solids...so that's where I would go first but after that...Erin McMorris's Wildwood! Looks like you might have had fun shopping!
OH, I would go Moda all the way. In fact, I just did that at our quilt shop, $200 worth of Moda. LOVE it! Now to do something productive with it, before it goes out of style
~a
Ooooo, as much orange (for my son) and purple (for my daughter) as I can find. I'm pretty new to quilting and don't have much stocked up!
I have been attracted to the Bonnie Blue neutrals and would probably start there. Then round it off with some various charm packs.
Not even a question...lantern bloom! and lots of it!
Hushabye..... until something else caught my eye.. no Hushabye, ummmm The Caroler looks nice too, no, no NO, Hushabye. I think.. hehehe
So many great fabric choices these days, we are so lucky!

I think I'd add a few dollars to it and get the Patisserie Charming Jelly Cake. Yum!
A toss up between Harmony Cream & Tan Fat Quarter Bundle
Jan Patek for Moda Fabrics and Vine Creek Almond and Straw Fat Quarter Bundle
Kansas Troubles Quilters for Moda Fabrics..Lovely fabrics!
so many choices! maybe a Wintry Holiday Magic Fat Quarter Bundle by studio E for a lap blanket for my mom for Christmas. oh! or a Indigo Fat Quarter Bundle
by Timeless Treasures Fabrics for my brother. he wants a black and blue quilt, and those aren't too girly. ooor, maybe either of the nature.ology fat quarter packs by studio e, for a possible wedding quilt. there's so much on this website!!
I'd hoard it for French General...or Simple Abundance...or maybe Hushabye...or maybe...you get the idea. I'm a horrible decision maker. I'd just spend enough to get them all.
Anything cause it's all awesome!
Definitely some Tula Pink something. And I've been itching to get a colorway (or two) of Lizzy House's Red Letter Day. Fun, fun!
I would buy me some Neptune! I've been eyeing it for so long, and it never goes on sale!
Nice to wish - slow down. Interesting question.
I'd save it for some hushabye. And not just because you posted about it the other day!
I would by hushabye and neptune they are the fabrics I have been wanting lately.
a few charm packs and then a few more!!

J'adore votre blog, tout y est très joli, c'est un plaisir de s'y promener, à bientôt !
I would probably spend hours scrolling through the options, trying to decide and then getting nervous so changing my mind... but would probably end up with some of my favourite fabrics - momo - in charm squares, jelly rolls, layer cakes, basically whatever I could get my hands on.
(oh, and realistically, do the 'inquiring minds' really think I could limit my purchase to just the gift certificate? hypothetically of course!)
janelockrey(at)gmail(dot)com
The fat quarter shop is a great shop. With a free $50 gift certificate I would buy charm packs and yardage of Patchwork Heritage. Except most likely I would buy whatever struck my fancy at the moment. A lot of times that is what gives me ideas and inspiration.
Possibly some cute Christmas Honey buns, and some Santorini fabric!
turnovers!! because so far that is the only pre-cut i didn't purchase yesterday at quilt festival!!
Full Bloom by Bari J and make that wonderful quilt pattern that goes with it. I LOVE that quilt.
I'd hang out, waiting for Panache, or maybe Love U or maybe Hushabye, or I'd decide I couldn't wait and get Glace. :o)
Oh man, I don't know. I have such a hard time making decisions. Maybe something Christmasy since I don't really have anything right now.
i think i would get something from the clementine line or maybe pungkin peers...too many wonderful choices. good luck choosing.
Patisserie, preorder - Authentic, some Mill House. It would go fast I can tell you that!
I would need to get my hands on some Lantern Bloom!
I would get Spring Street Fat Quarter Bundle. I love the colours!
I would buy some of the figgy pudding fabric, it's gorgeous!
I love the Neptune line, and would need to stock up on that. I have lots of baby quilts to make for friends in the coming months, and love that collection!
i'd shop in the sale section so my $50 would go farther. or else authentic from moda. i love that line.
I'm loving the Kansas Winter line. Specifically the Kansas Winter Charming Jelly Cake

I know it's only July, but I would love a bundle of Christmas fabric, Snow Flower by Free Spirit.
$50 worth of fat quarters! Well, maybe not, but it's so hard to pick when you know you're not really going to get it. All their stuff is so nice and all the new fun fabrics are just too yummy!
MGM
Oh gosh $50.00 at Fat Quarter Shop! What a great that would be. I first would go through every single fabric in the store! Then decide. Probably get fabric for my daughter's wedding quilt.

(mauh) Liz
Go online to Fat Quarter Shop and listen very, very closely to the fabric that calls your (my) name!
Melly and Me patterns and some Glace' fabric. I Love the FQS!
I would buy some of the Hushabye fabrics, maybe a jelly roll or the quilt kit.
My favorite color combo is red, white and blue!
As I said before, I would either put it towards two bali pops, or towards a bolt of moda basic cream (so I can use it to finish all those projects I have been putting off).
I would love some charm packs...can't ever have too many, can you? Or maybe some Amy Butler. That would be cool too.
I would have a really, really good look and find something brave for a block exchange!
Ooooh, $50 to spend at Fat Quarter shop .... well I don't know what I'd spend it on, but I know I'd have a fabulous time choosing :o).
Hug,
Joy :o)
I have just fallen in love with Cogsmo by Cosmo Cricket and can't wait for Snorkel by Cosmo Cricket to be released. And I would also love some Authentic by Sweetwater! Basically anything I can get my hands on that's not available in Oz...
Hi Rachel!
I blogged about it =)
melissa
I am pretty sure I would go for the Rouenneriers line by French General for Moda. I have been dying to get my hands on this, but it doesn't come out until October. If I won do you think I could save the GC until then?? LOL dought it. It would burn a whole in my pocket. LOL
Melissa
White muslin, and blue and green prints, including plaids. So requests my son, re a quilt.
I would get fat quarter bundles of Simple Abundance, Rouenerries, and Roses De Noel. Think it would stretch that far?
I owuld buy a few more Jelly rolls - just because I can........
Gail

happyvalleyhome AT yahoo DOT com
I would pre-order French General's gorgeous Rouenneries fat quarter pack! Then I would have to sit and wait until October when it is actually released by Moda. It would be painful but I'm strong!
RIGHT NOW my favorite color combo is blue and yellow....... a mix of fabrics in each of those colorways. I'm working on redecorating a new guest room using those colors for the bed cover quilt and the matching curtains. Now, when I start a new project my favorite color thing will probably change, depending on what I'm working on THEN.
I'm following you.
XXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
NADINE
I know I should be practical and get some coordinating yardage, but I'm in love with charm packs! I'm like a kid waiting in line in the candy aisle...gotta have some!
Gosh where would I start w/a $50 to FQ Shop. This is my favorite shop. I'd browse the 50% off first, then the kits (they have THE BEST kits). I'm sure by that point I'm beyond $50 :)
There are so many beautiful fabrics at the fat quarter shop it would be hard to choose. It would fun picking something though.
Hoping I'd stretch and buy something different than anything else I have! What an opportunity!
I'd make a down ppayment on either the Rouenneries quilt kit or the FQ Rouenneries bundle.
I'd buy a kit to make a girl's quilt for my GD for Christmas. Bright, cheery and girlie!
Oh, my too many choices! Maybe some blue, some green, Moda, .....my head is spinning!
Whoa, now that is Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day, and anything else that you could squeeze into and onto it giveaway....I feel so limited to just one color combo....blue/yellow
red/white.....blue/yellow....red/white.....sigh, it's like picking off the petals of the daisy.....
I have been waiting for the Birdie fabric by Moda to be available in Sept,I am on their waiting list,,I love that fabric so much, I would buy it all!
