death by quilting.

06 April 2009

well here is my death by quilting tablerunner.

what the heck is death by quilting???
basically it's quilting: jason bourne style.

there are targets...weapons...assassinations...
oh yeah...very jason bourne-ish.

as of right now i'm still only a target.
but things change in the blink of an eye.

i ♥ this tablerunner SO much!!!
and the red stippling...*swoon*
i really, really need one JUST like it.
{it was made from these fabrics.}

did i mention that i made this in less than a few hours???
yeah...complete madness...i know.
but i couldn't chance becoming a victim.

this weapon is on it's way to my target.
*que the suspenseful music*

What are you talking about???

I'm so stinking confused?

Targets and killing in quilting????

What did you make this for?

Holey moley, girl, how do you find these things? Let me guess, it found you! Sounds like fun but maybe a little too fast paced for my life right now. Have fun with it! (p.s. table runner is gorgeous, I would have wanted to keep it too!!)

Looks BEAUTIFUL, Rachel. I knew I'd not have time to participate in something like this, but it is very clever. (Had seen it done with knitters but now with quilters until Pat Sloan started it with her group.)

Oh I love Jason B. Matt was perfect for the part. Don't you think?
Well it's not going to be death by quilting when the runner is placed on the table. It looks great.
Funny Blog.

It's great reading about the game, but it would be way too intense for me! LOL Kind of like someone sticking a pipe bomb in your mailbox...LOL

It is darling. The stipple looks so neat and even. It almost reminds me of crazing you see on old pottery. It really is sweet. Good job.

So beautiful Rachel! I love this idea and if I didn't have so much on my schedule...:(...what kind of machine did you use to do the stippling....it is so good! I just want to rub my hands all over that stippling.

Keep on quilting!

I can see why you named that quilt the name you did. That is a lot but it is beautiful.

Absolutely LOVE your weapon! I have weapon jealousy... for that matter, I have DBQ jealousy! I, sadly, missed the deadline!

But just wait Rachel Griffith, I'll be in on the next round and you'll have to really watch your back!
Cheers,
Dionne
PS - Did I mention how much I love your runner!
