I vote for the pinwheels. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE those fabrics!!!
Cute new look, very clean and happy I'd say. Congrats! It sounds like an extra fun giveaway.
I think the pinwheels would look great in those beautiful fabrics.
I am going to say stars just to be different!!
I have to agree...do the pinwheels..it will be beautiful.
Happy 100th post!! I vote for the pinwheels! That fabric will look adorable with that pattern! Best of Luck! Jennifer

Rachel,
I should wine because my name is spelled the same way yours is! I like the star best but I think the pinwheels would be easier.
Congrats on 100 postings....
I vote pinwheels. Love the clean, crisp look of the pinwheels.
Congrats on reaching 100 posts! My vote is for the stars but really either would look great. Maybe you'll just have to make two! :oP
When I saw the first quilt, I thought, "this one!" But then I saw the pinwheels, and I think they would be better! Congrats, and what a fun giveaway!
I vote the pinwheels. I am feeling lucky, so pick me!! have a great day. Julie
I have questions Rachel. If you do quilt #1, the stars, what color will your back ground be? And if you do quilt #2, the pinwheels, do you seriously want to cut up that fabric that much? It's so gorgeous! I think it should be fussy cut with each flower being the center of the block. blessings, marlene
I love the "I Wish I May" Congrats on your 100th post. Aren't Pat's fabrics AND patterns yummy?
The stars!!! I am voting stars even though it looks like it is losing so far. But I have really good taste so you should just ignore the others..hehehe LOL
Grats on 100 posts =)
Pinwheels! I love pinwheels and they would look sooooooo happy with Nikki. Your blog is great fun. Happy 100th post! I just love the music too, how do you do that?? Let us know what you pick for the block.
I definitely think the pinwheel quilt would be the best. The Nikki fabric is a little more conteporary looking. The star quilt looks more like it should be made with 30's fabric. That's my humble opinion
I definitely think the pinwheel quilt would be the best. The Nikki fabric is a little more contemporary looking. The star quilt looks more like it should be made with 30's fabric. That's my humble opinion
I can't believe 100th posting already. I say the pinwheels:) I was wondering how your mama was doing? I love the new little tree at the top of your page. Congrats on the 100th post:)
My vote is for the stars even though pinwheels are always fun, too.
Congratulations on your 100th post!

Oh gosh, do we have to pick (she says whining)? I love both of them. It's so nice to see quilts that aren't so simple -- I'm tired of making those myself but need to do some quickies.
Back to your dilemma -- Pinwheels have always been my favorite. But. It would be REALLY great to see someone making that other very cool quilt!
Difficult decision because I just love pinwheels. But I am going to have to go with the star -- that is a great pattern. I think I am going to add it to my to do list.

I say make one of the turning twenty designs.
I vote for the pinwheels! I think it'd look great in Pat's Nikki fabric!
Hi, Rachel,

The pinwheels, absolutely. Now that I've read the tutorial, I want to make one. Make the pinwheels, it will be gorgeous!
I vote for pinwheels too! ~Rachel
I would def go with the first quilt the fabrics would look fab :)
Karen
Are you one of those rare quilters who actually finishes what you start? If so, go for the stars. They are just a little different.
But if you're like me and become easily distracted, I suggest the pinwheels. They are so much easier to complete, and the design is clean and timeless and I love them!
Kim
I vote for the I Wish I May! Thanks for checking out my blog!
How exciting...your first giveaway! I love both quilts put I'm more favorable to the stars. Thanks for hosting.

Hello! found your blog from your posting on another! I vote for the stars! :)
Very nice blog! I'll be back for sure!

I love for the pinwheels too! I think the star pattern may lose too much of the beauty of the Nikki fabs..the larger pattern pieces for the pinwheel will really showcase that snazzy fabric! And lucky you to have such a great momma to support your quilting habit!
Between the two, I vote for the stars--but they're both great! Congrats on 100 postings!!!
PINWHEELS!! They are just too cute and will be really fun using Pat's fabrics.
Congrats on your 100th post! Love that nikki fabric (of course it's Pat Sloan..what's not to love)! I like both patterns but I especially like the pinwheels pattern. Thanks for offering the giveaway.
I think the pinwheels will look fantastic in the Nikki fabrics!

Happy 100th posting! Both quilts are beautiful, but I vote for the pinweels. I think it will show each fabric in a better way, and I would like to see the beauty of each single fabric after they are made into a quilt too.
