I love old westerns, John Wayne or Clint Eastwood westerns, one that sticks out is Big Jake with John Wayne. I love the dog in the movie, fav line, 'dog!'. John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara were always fun to watch. Sorry, that wasn't a 'simple' answer. :)

Calamity Jane with Doris Day. Love that movie! :o)
My favorite western is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, starring a very young, very handsome Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef. The sound track was composed by Ennio Morricone and unforgettable. The beginning is very slow moving but it's a classic! i still think Clint Eastwood is handsome, even at 80!
My father loved this movie and we used to watch it together when I was a very young child.
Thanks for bringing back those fond memories!
I love the name of this line!! My favorite western is Lonesome Dove. One of the best movies ev-a!

I would love to win! I'm going to pick Firefly as my favorite scifi/Western show. :)
Open Range is a great movie and John Wayne movies are good too! My dad is a huge western fan and probably watches a movie a night if football isn't on. I have seen a lot of western movies, but can't always remember the names. Urban Cowgirls is one of my favorite lines this year!
This is a tough one, it's hard to decide because I have seen so many! Blazing Saddles is a memorable one, but I think I have to go with the Outlaw Josey Wales.
I'm not much for westerns, but my mom loved True Grit and I've seen it tons of times. Thanks.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.Great range of fabric!
You're gonna laugh, but when I was a little girl, we watched Blazing Saddles over and over again because we were waaaay up north where my dad worked and had no cable TV, just a few videos. Good memories attached to that movie.
But I think I would pick Young Guns as the more contemporary favourite.
I LOVE this fabric. I would wear my cowboy boots (bought in Texas last summer) while sewing with it ;)
Murphy's Romance!
Thanks for the giveaway!!
oh dear. i can't say i've ever watched a western movie that i can remember. is that crazy? though i do love country music. so since this line is called urban cowgirl i'm going to say my favorite move is sweet home alabama with reese whiterspoon. since she was a an urban cowgirl of sorts. does that count?

Urban Cowboy! Debra W. was great!
Thanks for the chance!
Last of the Dogmen. I may or may not have several lines memorized. :)
old gringo, maybe I should watch it again. kelly d
Dances with Wolves
I haven't really watched many westerns...so I will say Serenity (based on the tv show Firefly)...because that is sort of a western set in sci-fi! :-)
Love the colors in this new line! Would love to win.... I watched a LOT of westerns on TV growing up, but not so much the movies. If I had been a boy I would have been named Shane after the movie - so I'll pick that one!
City Slickers all the way! Thanks for the chance to win!
Probably the original 'True Grit'. The new one is pretty good too, but you just can't beat John Wayne.
I love that fabric!! It's great!! My favorite western movie would have to be 8 Seconds! I could watch it over and over and over!!!
I would pick 8 Seconds as my fav. but I swear Lonesome Dove is on everytime Im sick.. so it holds a spechial place in my heart :)
pretty fabric! I'm going with Oklahoma and Young Guns 1 & 2 as my fave westerns!
True Grit, but the Jeff Bridges version, not the John Wayne version.
Lonesome Dove. Great book. Great movie. Great fabric. Thanks for the chance to win.
ANNIE OAKLEY.....hands down! Come on girls! "Anything you can do , I can do better....".

I'm going with City Slickers. Can we call that a cowboy/cowgirl movie? starfishlover615 at hotmail dot com
I agree, Nathan Fillion is my fave 'modern' cowboy, but 'Pardners' with Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis, is my all time fave ;-)
I'm not much for Westerns but one of my favorite movies is Maverick with Mel Gibson and Jody Foster. It's one of those I can watch anytime it's on...I love it!
Those fabrics are yummy! My favorite cowboy movie has got to be "Tombstone" with Kurt Russell. Thanks for the great giveaway! :)
I have been eyeing that fabric..so cute! I have only watched Roy Rogers movies lately with our son who LOVES Roy! Guess that would have to be my favorite...except for just about anything John Wayne. :)
For a real western; it would have to be 'The good bad and the ugly'...but Coyote Ugly is the very best cowgirl show....lol
Great giveaway...thank you so much
I like John Wayne movies. "The Cowboys" and "McClintock" are my favorites.
I love this fabric! My favorite western movie is True Grit. When we watched it, both my husband and I looked at each other and said we want our daughter just like that :)
Yummy looking fabric! Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is my favorite western..." who ARE those guys????". Hope the snow stays over on the East side, but it looks like winter is heading your way. It's OK though, 'cause it's supposed to be 26 in GA tonight:-), so not much better here.
I'm not a big Western fan but I am a fan of fabric! I have really enjoyed watching Hell on Wheels on AMC lately with my hubby... is that a western? There are cowboys and indians? Thanks -
I'd have to say "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid". Can't beat Robert Redford and Paul Newman TOGETHER!!
Thanks for the chance to win!!
Young Guns, most definitely! Emilio & Kiefer back when they were my age... YUM!
I don't know if it counts as a Western, but it stars John Wayne, so it can't be too far off, right? My favorite is "The Quiet Man," also starring Maureen O'Hara.
If I can count TV Westerns, then I'm going with Firefly (just because it's in Space doesn't mean it's not a Western!!) over everything!
Hubby enjoyed a Redbox movie just a couple weeks ago called Broken Trail with Robert Duvall.
Love the fabrics!my favorite would be Urban Cowboy or The Cowboy Way!
I am LOVING this fabric line too! I don't watch many westerns, but I can see Tombstone over and over again.
I'm a huge Jarmusch fan so I have to say Deadman is my favorite western, but there is much in that genre that is fun!
Beautiful fabric! I liked Urban Cowboy, Pure Country and City Slickers but I guess City Slickers would be my favorite because it can make me laugh and cry!
I couldn't think of a western because I don't watch many movies, and I'm more of a reader than movie-watcher. I asked my husband, and he said Clint Eastwood movies.
My favorite it McClintock!
Gorgeous fabric! Love the movie Tombstone!
I love this fabric too! My favorite cowboy type movie is: Urban Cowboy with John Travolta and Debra Winger.
Definently Young Guns. I practically wore out the VHS watching it when I was a teenage (totally dating myself)! Thanks for the chance to win this awesome line.
I have loved "Hang 'Em High" since childhood- not exactly "appropriate" for a small girl, but I used to watch that movie every time it was on TV. The new "True Grit" isn't bad, either!
My Favorite Western Movie is Maverick - such a great film! The Fabric is georgous!
