I looked for those cake plates the other day at Target... but alas, too late.

Hang in there Rachel! Making a baby is tough work!

I'm glad you're starting to feel better - the first trimester is NO fun! I absolutely love your photography. It's always so bright and cheerful! What kind of lens do you use?

Glad you are starting to feel better. I really enjoy your blog!

I’m new to quilting, and I don’t want my quilts (or projects) to fall apart because I’m using cheap thread, or the wrong kind of thread. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind answering a few questions for me about the type of thread you use. And if you have any other helpful information when choosing thread for a certain project, that you wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

*When you sew your pieces together, what kind of thread do you use?
*When you quilt/applique, what kind of thread do you use?
*When you bind your quilts, what kind of thread do you use?

Thanks again!

I would really really really ♥♥♥LOVE♥♥♥ to have a very large slice of that delicious, delectable, yummy-looking cake right now. Almost looks too pretty to eat but I think I could handle it just fine!

Your cake looks lovely on your cake stand. Is it red velvet cake? lol

I have that cake stand, too. I saw it in Target, after Thanksgiving. I picked it up, put it back and thought I didn't need it. Then Pam and Elizabeth got one and I decided I needed it, too! It was so sweet of Julie to buy you one.

That is one good-lookin' cake! When I first started to scroll it down, I thought it was a white fabric roll with cute little pink and red pins stuck in it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loses my mojo. I've had a string/spiderweb quilt going on my sewing table for ever, never picked anything up because I was going to get right back at it the next day...it's been a mes for weeks now.
