You're a fall in winter person? I knew there was a reason I liked you. I love winter and fall, and have little use for summer. Anyway, the top bud looks like a rhodendron about to bloom. Hugs

It is definitely a rhododendron bud. We had beautiful ones where we used to live....brought one here and it died. Those bushes can be BEAUTIES when they mature. I have photos of mine from years back...should put them on my blog one day soon.

Oh my Rachel, I love you even more. I'm not a summer fan either. Fall and winter are for me.

Beautiful flowers! I saw a garden this morning that had so many bulbs a bloom it was like a shot of rainbow sunshine. I always plant my bulbs the prescribed distance apart, but next spring I want some rainbow sunshine in my garden too!
Cheers,
Dionne
