p.s. i quilt (the shop)

well i did it.
i broke up with etsy.
it just wasn't working out.
don't get me wrong...it's me. not them.
okay it is them. and those darn fees.

with that being said...
p.s. i quilt {the shop} is now open for business.

oh happy day.

3:38am

let me set the scene:
it's 3:38am.
everyone is asleep...well everyone but me & miss lindsey.
it's breastfeeding time. hi-5.

normally when i'm nursing in the wee hours of the morning, i'm on facebook.
{i heart my blackberry.}
i like to try to convince myself that facebook'n it will keep me awake.

well this morning things were a little different.
a fantastic quilt design decided to hit me out of no where.
yep. the most inopportune moment ever.
no paper. no pencil. no laptop.
after all there was a baby...well you know...attached to my body.

what's a girl to do?!?!
well this girl finished feeding the baby & immediately fell back asleep.
:P

i know, i know.
but in my defense, i did sketch it out after i woke up again.
honest.

so what's the moral of this story?!?!
it's that inspiration can strike at ANY time.
even at 3:38am while breastfeeding.

time flies.

so i'm 28 years old today.
man time flies.
the big three-oh is only 2 years away.
:P
